Video Transcription: Another super fun drill, but more on the advanced side would be doing a start and going right into a flip turn. This combines feeling the speed of the start, so taking all that momentum and velocity going through the water and then trying to carry that through a really tight flip. It’s hard to hold a really small ball as you’re going through that flip turn, but it’s nice to work because that speed is so much higher than you would normally have. Trying to get your body tucked and tight with having the higher speed is good because it’s teaching you kind of on the way other side of the spectrum with speed, where you will still sit faster than practice, but not quite to a start right in the middle there with carrying your own surface speed.
