Assistant Swim Coach
Lindsay, born and raised in Macon, Ga., holds a Master of Science in Kinesiology and a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from the University of Georgia. Her professional journey in swimming began as a developmental coach with the Athens Bulldog Swim Club from 2011 to 2013, followed by a role with Cheyenne Mountain Aquatics from 2014 to 2015. Lindsay then served as a senior instructor and deck coach at Nitro Swim School from 2015 to 2017, where she still coaches now and leads Nitro’s Bronze group. Throughout her career, she has had the honor of representing the United States as a 2016 Paralympian in the 400 freestyle and 200 individual medley. She also competed in the 2015 Para World Championships and the 2014 Para Pan-Pacific Championships, while holding American records in the 4×50 medley relay (34-point) and the 4×50 freestyle relay (34-point).
In addition to her competitive achievements, Lindsay is a certified Red Cross CPR/AED and Safety Training instructor and a proud member of USA Swimming. She spent a year and a half as a resident athlete at the Olympic Training Center, which deepened her expertise in high-performance training. She also possesses unique skills, such as knowing Braille, and a fun fact is that she once walked 11 miles through San Francisco just to reach an In-N-Out Burger!
Lindsay joined the Swim Like A. Fish team in June 2023, and we are thrilled to have her with us. Her blend of professional experience, competitive success, and personal passion for the sport shapes her approach as a coach, where she aims to inspire the next generation of swimmers.
