Virtual swim lessons for Swimmers

At SLAF, we believe that no matter where you are in the world – you should have access to great swim coaching. That’s why we offer virtual swim lessons to any swimmer regardless of their location!

LOOKING FOR A NEW training option? Try a virtual swim lesson!

Our Virtual Swim Lesson packages offer you the flexibility of swim lessons conducted at your home pool – via Zoom. These lessons can be completed as one-on-one sessions or in small groups. We also offer bulk lesson packages to help you save some money on your training. However, we have successfully conducted Online Swim Camps for a full comprehensive virtual coaching experience. If you have any inquiries about virtual swim camps, please email us at [email protected].

Prerequisites for Virtual Swim Lessons: To take part in Virtual Swim Lessons, your swimmer must be 8 years or older and be accompanied by an adult. The accompanying adult can be a caregiver, parent, or coach. Whoever is accompanying the swimmer will be responsible for holding the phone to film the athlete while they swim and/or help convey any feedback given to the athlete. Please, make sure your pool facility is okay with filming before purchasing a Virtual Swim Lesson. Some facilities have rules against using phones while in the pool. The easiest way to figure this out is to call your local pool facility and speak with the Aquatics Director.

If the use of cell phones and filming is allowed, make sure your pool/facility also has great cellular signal and/or fast Wi-Fi for a seamless Virtual Swim Lesson experience!

Look Out for an Email from Head Coach, Abbie Fish, to Schedule Your Virtual Swim Lesson(s). If You’re a New SLAF Athlete, We May Schedule a Quick 15-Minute Call to Get Some Background On Your Swimming and Current Training.

**FYI : We do cap how many Virtual Swim Lessons clients we take on per quarter. This is to keep our coaches workloads reasonable and to ensure a great experience for all our swimmers. If you don’t see the option to check out at the bottom of this page, that means we aren’t currently accepting new clients at this time. As a heads up, spots do normally open up quarterly each year. 20+ YEARS COACHING EXPERIENCE

Our coaching team boasts a collective experience of over 20 years in training athletes, encompassing various sports, not limited to swimming. Head Coach, Abbie Fish, holds a Masters in Strength and Conditioning from the University of Georgia, along with a C.S.C.S and personal training certification.

Remaining current with the latest training trends and comprehending the unique requirements of competitive swimming is what distinguishes us from other dryland training providers and coaches.

ELITE SWIMMING EXPERIENCE

Having several Olympic Trial Qualifiers and retired National Team athletes as part of our team, we possess a deep understanding of the journey to the elite level. Swimming is a sport that demands unwavering dedication and can span a long, rewarding career. In fact, some of our own careers extended for more than 25 years!

When you choose to work with SLAF, you gain access to a wealth of experience from some of the finest athletes who have excelled at the highest levels themselves. They are eager to support and cheer you on as you navigate your own journey to success!

TECHNIQUE NERDS

Every member of our staff is currently or has been a coach at some point in their career. We could talk endlessly about different technique styles and trends. It’s often said that once you’re a swimmer, you’re always a swimmer, as the sport never truly leaves you once you hang up your cap and goggles. We can dive deep into swimming stats and geek out about your stroke, paying attention to even the smallest details to help you improve.
