Ruby Martin

Ruby Martin, originally from Iowa City, IA, comes from a sports-oriented family. With a background in competitive swimming, Ruby’s journey truly began by chasing the pretty hot pink ribbon (11th place). However, her determination only grew stronger, and she eventually set her sights on a more coveted color like blue. Her competitive spark grew tremendously and led her to Arizona State University, where she swam and trained under coach Bob Bowman.

Her swimming achievements include several U.S. training camps, 3x U.S. National Junior Team member, various national titles, Jr Pan Pan team member, and 2 U.S. Olympic Trial qualifications in multiple events. Specializing in butterfly, she placed 4th overall in the 200 butterfly at the 2016 U.S. Olympic Trials.

After graduating and wrapping up her swim career, Ruby discovered a passion for content creation and social media marketing/management. Her hobbies include exploring new coffee shops, the outdoors, photography, running her own foodie instagram page, working out, and quality time with family and friends.
